It was an extremely powerful exhibit and I think it made a huge impression on everyone who experienced it. I have spoken to so many people who said that it was a real eye-opener, and that they were hopeful that raising awareness with events like this will truly make a difference. I hope that USC is lucky enough to see Send Silence Packing back on campus in the future! I am so grateful that this event made it to USC this year! I am very moved by this website and all that you are doing to help our wonderful young people overcome this. I never thought that I would ever personally have to experience it myself until this year when my 18 year old son started attending CSULB and became depressed. I am very thankful for what you are doing, because deep down inside he knew that things were not normal and he was able to come to me and ask for help right away. Parents need to be open with our children and teach them to communicate. Recognize and observe when something is not right. Ask questions and most importantly, LISTEN!
